The story of the ISU World Synchronized Skating Championships® 2025 logo began with the best of the sport. What makes Synchronized Skating so stunning and special? We wanted to create something timeless and chic, which embraces the best aspects of synchronized skating: devotion and unity.
Devotion
We feel that the whole Synchronized Skating community is like a one big loving family united by a passion for combining music and movement. Our hearts melt when we hear the rip and bite of edges on the ice. We skate alone, with a friend and as a part of a bigger formation. We value ourselves, each other and our sport. Our goal is to grow Synchronized Skating bigger and stronger than ever.
Unity
The Synchronized Skating team is made up of individuals who skate on a thin blade in a whirlwind of amazing tricks and difficult steps. At the same time they do everything they can to create as united and flawless performance as possible. This unity makes Synchronized Skating a unique sport where only through seamless cooperation and mutual support can skilled individuals achieve their greatest goals.
Therefore, we chose two loops for the competition logo. Which, when they bite into the ice, form a heart-shaped knot: The Heart for the devotion towards the sport – The knotted Loops for the unity and seamless cooperation.
This idea is summed up in the main message of the World Synchronized Skating Championships – Skate as one.
